About Founder - Imre Bergmann

Imre dived into ceramics after graduating from the Art Academy which she went to part-time on top of her regular job. 

She was very inspired by her graduation project, a conceptual tableware that brings people from different cultures together and connects them by having them eat together. 

She left her regular job in 2009 and started Design * by Imre Bergmann.

Brand's Philosophy

Imre's focus is on tableware, minimalist and timeless in shape and color. The reason, I was so drawn to her work. 

Her pieces contain an underlying message - mealtime can be a moment of rest.
